Fastnet Energy Consultants is an independent marine and offshore consultancy based in Dubai, supporting international offshore projects. We build the management systems, the assurance and the project controls that let complex offshore work be executed safely, defended under scrutiny, and finished on the date it was promised.
What we do
An assignment usually begins with a new operating company, a vessel upgrade, a tender requirement, an audit that is coming, or an operation that needs an independent view. We establish the scope, examine the evidence that exists, and produce the documents and arrangements needed to move the work forward.
Fastnet can take a focused specialist assignment or coordinate a wider scope through a mobilised network of marine, DP, engineering, HSE and project specialists. Capability is defined by what we can mobilise and control, not by headcount.

Fastnet is led by Tony O’Dwyer, Master Mariner and Nautical Institute qualified Lead Auditor in the ISM Code, the ISPS Code and MLC. More than 35 years offshore, over two decades in command as Master and Offshore Installation Manager across pipelay, saturation diving, heavy lift, trenching and DP accommodation campaigns, followed by senior fleet and executive responsibility ashore.
That heritage is why Fastnet writes procedures that can be followed, sets operating limits that hold, and audits a system against the way the work is actually done.

We remain involved when required: rolling out the documentation, verifying performance or intervening to bring a failing project back under control.
